2020 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court – Pakistan National Rounds

In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Islamabad, UCL was the first educational institution to jointly host the Pakistan National Rounds of the 2020 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in Lahore. A total of 32 teams confirmed participation, but due to exam schedules and financial constraints, 22 teams competed in the oral rounds. The final round was hosted for the first and only time in the Supreme Court bench, Lahore, with a distinguished panel of judges comprising Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Ayesha Malik, and Justice Jawad Hassan. The competition provided an invaluable opportunity for students to engage in public international law advocacy at an advanced level.
