In Pakistan, 99% of women lack at least one key marriage right in their Nikahnama. The #KaanteNaLagao campaign, launched by CFHR, Fahad Hussayn, and Mashion, combats this by raising awareness and advocating for women's rights within marriage contracts.

CFHR is honoured to receive a 🥉 Bronze Effie Award for our campaign hashtag #KanteeNaLagao | The Unwearable Jewels — a call to end the normalization of women being denied key nikahnama rights. A thorn-studded bridal jewelry collection symbolizing unchecked clauses as ‘thorns’ in married life. The campaign debuted with a striking video on Instagram and YouTube and ignited a national conversation on protecting women’s marital rights.This recognition belongs to every survivor who spoke, every advocate who listened, and every partner who stood with us.
