On May 20th, CFHR delivered a full-day training on CEDAW Engagement for Muslim Family Law Reform in Pakistan — an initiative in collaboration with Musawah and hosted at Serena Hotel, Islamabad.
20 advocates, lawyers, and civil society practitioners came together to build practical skills for using CEDAW as a tool for family law reform. The training covered everything from CEDAW mechanisms and Pakistan's Muslim family law context, to comparative case studies and hands-on advocacy strategy — closing with concrete action plans participants took home.
Real tools. Real strategies. Real change in the making.
